How to Effectively Get the Sleep You Need for a Productive Workday

Sleep. It’s crucial to our lives yet the majority of American adults are not getting enough of it. This lack of shuteye negatively impacts nearly every facet of our day, including our productivity at work.

With 63 percent of Americans reporting that their sleep needs aren’t met during the week, sleep deprivation is a societal epidemic that exists across all economic statuses, industries and seniority levels. Many may chalk this sleep deprived sluggishness at the office, at least partly, to simply not wanting to be at work. However, it is actually from not getting enough sleep to function properly.

When we are tired and need to perform at work, a lot of people pay to stay awake. Workers end up shelling out a good deal of their own money to fight insomnia and other sleep-related disorders.
