MADE IN THE USA - Elegance Memory Foam Mattress

I ended up purchasing this mattress after reading all the reviews. With only a few reviews being less than good I decided spending $700 was worth the risk. I had gone to the big box stores and spent thousands after laying on mattresses after laying on them for a few minutes and ended up hating them. I was also researching Loom and Leaf and other box mattresses but I decided on Perfect Cloud. And the price to risk ratio made more sense.The mattress arrived on the day it was supposed to. The box was a little beat up but it was pretty heavy so i expected that. It was wrapped in 2 layers of plastic, a heavy outer plastic sleeve and thinner inner plastic wrap. There was no damage to the plastic.We ordered a King and it was heavy but very manageable with two people. The plastic was easy enough to get off and it layed out right away. I noticed a very slight smell when the plastic first came off but it literally only lasted a minute. I expected it to be worse as I am very smell sensitive.It states you need to let it reform for 6-8 hours but we decided to give it 24. It was fully formed in 6 but since it was delivered in Iowa in January we wanted to give it time to warm back up. It may not have mattered but since it is a considerable amount of money it seemed worth it to us to give it extra time before putting weight on it.Last night was our first night on it and I am impressed. I slept from 10p- 6a and I can't remember the last time that happened. I slept sound and didn't wake stiff and sore even after having a physical day of moving and stacking firewood. The dogs didn't even get me up at the usual 4a so they must have liked it too. Yes some of our dogs sleep in our bed, that is why we upgraded to a King. My husband and I weigh between 140-170.I will give it a break in period and edit my review if neccessary after 30 days. For now I would reccommend!**update after sleeping on for one year** February 2018Still happy with this decision. The mattress is still comfortable after sleeping on it for just over a year. There is no sinking spots or issues at all. We thought we had an issue a few months ago but it ended up that one of our supports had slipped, fixed that and it was good as new. I may eventually want a slightly softer mattress but I anticipate having this for at least 10 years and that was worth the money compared to a $1500 - $2000 mattress.

My husband and I are Senior Citizens and was looking for a mattress for our aching joints. Did a lot of research and found this one. I was a little skeptical about buying a mattress in a box but I'm glad I purchased this mattress. My five year old granddaughter helped me unpack it. It expanded quickly but there was a note that suggested letting it continue expanding for 8 hours. My granddaughter couldn't wait and fell in love with the mattress. I can truthfully say that we love our mattress. We've had it for about 3 months. It is a big improvement over our old bed. This one doesn't move when I get up several times a night so my husband doesn't wake up. It does take a little getting use to because it doesn't move around when you roll over but we have adjusted to that. It is well worth the money and if anyone is doubtful I want them to know that this mattress is top of the line. I saved over half the price of buying one locally and I like that very much.
