MADE IN THE USA - Elegance Memory Foam Mattress

I was used to getting out of bed every morning with a stiff back, not anymore!

OK, I've had this bed for 4 days now and I am really excited to report that I can move out of the recliner and back into the bed. Yes, I still have to use the pillow wedge for my back problems, but this bed is EXACTLY what we needed for me to come back to sleeping with my love of my life! I've had to move to the recliner and separate bed due to a genetic condition that prevents me from sleeping flat on any bed. Using back supports, I am able to achieve a restful night's sleep. My lovely wife tends to toss and turn through out the night which would wake me. This bed is SOLID, I don't even know that she's got up and moved out. The past 3 days have been blessed for me.Thank you for putting out a product that is finally affordable and worth every cent.

I may have set my expectations too high after reading the reviews.First, the delivery was a nightmare. UPS required a signature (which I was initially unaware of) and actually receiving my mattress was quite the hassle as I had to change the delivery address so someone could sign for it. Anyways, when it was finally delivered, it was just bagged... I was shocked because I had seen in reviews that others received theirs in a box. Not ours. It was wrapped twice in plastic and ripped all the way to the mattress in some areas with huge black marks on the actual mattress. Even the warranty paper was shredded. I really wish I would've taken pictures of how it was received. The black marks are still on the mattress but honestly I was in such a rush to have a decent bed to sleep on, the blemishes weren't a priority. I'm not sure who is in charge of packaging/shipping be it but it was really disappointing considering this is a $700 investment and wasn't even put in a box. Thank god it was received on Wednesday because Thursday we had heavy rain/snow all day in the north east. With the holes in the plastic, it would've definitely been damaged worse.After getting it upstairs and unwrapped, whoah was the smell potent. If you have a spare room, I'd recommend opening it and letting it sit in there to air out with the windows open for a week before using it. The smell is really much worse than I anticipated, but again, decent bed, I hate to complain. It's been two nights thus far and the smell is still very strong. I'm sure it'll fade but just something to keep in mind.Then comes actually sleeping on it. I have to say its definitely different. Its firm and yet you sink into it? Not sure how to describe it. Not as mushy as I had hoped. I sleep ok, but it's definitely been a few sore mornings. On that note, I think it's a good thing. My previous mattress was 25 years old and 6 inches thick... you could say I definitely wasn't getting the right support. My partner thinks that my back is so unaligned that actually having the proper support is making me feel sore, but actually fixing me. who knows. I'll update in two weeks if anything's changed. If I don't update, it's probably because I've ordered a mattress topper.UPDATE 11/1 - the smell has definitely dissipated thank goodness. going up to 4 stars from 3 because I do find it much easier to get out of bed in the morning well rested. Still a bit sore but I think I'm still adjusting. Overall happy with the purchase considering the price. It may not feel as soft as I'd like and I certainly wouldn't have bought it had I sat on it in an actual store...But after having the opportunity to sleep on it and feel it realigning my back, it was the right purchase for us. (he likes it too but then again he's very easy to please)
