The things you can do for Overheating

You still have some time before your alarm goes off, are tired, and desperately want more shut-eye. However, for reasons unknown, getting back to sleep eludes you due to waking up hot and sweaty.

This problem is one of the most frustrating obstacles in life to deal with, especially when you have a long day ahead, and need rest. Plus, waking up in the night disrupts your sleep, and can lead to health challenges including decreased memory and attention span.

When overheating occurs we generally flip the pillow to the cooler side, and that’s it. Believing this will cool you down quickly so that sleep can be quickly resumed is a mistake. There are additional steps you can take to ensure you never wake up from overheating.

First, try going to bed naked and ensure the thermostat is set to a cool mid-60 degrees fahrenheit. These two remedies are simple and can be implemented immediately.

Second, consider a memory foam mattress with cooling properties. Perfect Cloud’s Ultraplush mattress is made with a cooling 2-inch gel-infused memory foam layer sandwiched in between a 1.5-inch top layer of air-infused memory foam. These layers are supported by a 6.5-inch bottom layer of HD Base Support Foam.

Third, being sprayed by a plant mister or gadget that creates a fine mist may help cool you down quickly. A quick spray to the face and neck can instantly relieve you of heat so that precious sleep isn’t lost.

Creating a cool sleeping environment isn’t difficult when you implement the three solutions above. You need sleep, and you need to be temperature-controlled when you slumber. It is possible to have uninterrupted dreams by changing your sleep environment.
